The Opportunity: Assistant Manager / Auto Service Advisor
This is a crucial sales and customer relations role where you will be the face and voice of Freedom Tire & Automotive. You are the essential link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians. Your ability to build trust, clearly explain service needs, and present solutions will directly drive the success of our shop and your career. We're looking for someone with the experience and drive to not only excel as a Service Advisor but also step into leadership responsibilities as an Assistant Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing a warm, professional welcome and a world-class service experience.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Translate technician findings into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand service recommendations.
- Generate accurate and transparent estimates for all automotive repairs and maintenance services.
- Confidently sell necessary maintenance and repair work, consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles, ensuring a smooth and transparent process from drop-off to pick-up.
- Assist in managing the daily workflow and scheduling to maximize shop efficiency.
- Help lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive, productive, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Required: Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Consultant, or Service Writer.
- A strong sales mindset with a verifiable track record of achieving sales targets in a service environment.
- Deep knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance, tires, and services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. You can build rapport with anyone.
- A customer-first attitude and an unwavering commitment to quality and integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
